F. O. O. D. - Forgotten Orchestra of Dreamland
The orchestra lost itself. It lost itself somewhere far away, but it is still present. It is a piece of news, a quiet message, a wish, both reaction and screaming, a true image simultaneously an illusion and reflection of the dreamer's soul, that despite its flighty nature is materialized into a sort of a visible, communicative shape, which gets surprisingly concrete at times. The dreamers may give advice, point out, challenge, ask for or threaten, they may even bore, however briefly. The Forgotten Orchestra of the Dreamer's Land is a reflection of an experiment. It is concerned with creating a musical forum, where anyone can improvise his or her part without disturbing their partner, in order to attain mutual communication and spirit. Various musical instruments, sound media and musical styles are employed including visual projection creating various environments to experiment with. It is a while, the imprint of a moment. Each player's participation is extremely important, playing that of his/her own will rather than from a score or script. What matters is the spirit the musician gives to his/her part. |
