Bang is an explosion, a whiz, a thunderstorm, but also a tickling, fondling and petting…it is a rhythm, a rumbling and pounding, an echo, and a soothing warbling and tranquillity, and finally it is nothing, nothing at all….

Bang is a small ensemble of drum musicians dedicated to performing exclusively improvised music

Bang is performing on occasion. It is made up of a variable musician set up, it performs mostly as a duo or trio. It is a trip into the drum factory, where you will hear banging on the drum sets and percussion, jamming and cooking on the kitchen pots and pans ….

The premiere took place on February, 2^nd, 2001 in the Gallery NOD, in Prague. It was an intro session of the British drummer Marcus Godwyn the founder of Bang Jaroslav Koran
